NextGenChef and CANOPY bring you a three-part panel series looking at food & sustainability from three different pillars; healthy, accessible and regenerative. Our panelists will touch on trending topics at each part of the series that focus on issues affecting business and consumer touchpoints from soil to shelf.

Panelists and moderator include:

Megan Mokri, Founder & CEO of Byte Technology. She is a local female founder on a mission to change the way people eat by increasing access to fresh, healthy food. She founded Byte Technology to enable food companies and restaurants (such as Raley’s, Urban Remedy, & Pressed Juicery) to conveniently sell their fresh products via small unattended stores where consumers are already spend time – workplaces, universities, airports, etc.

Dr. Hemalee Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine currently on staff at California Pacific Medical Center and Stanford University Hospital & Clinics, where she was previously a Clinical Instructor and Hospitalist. Known as a leader in the lifestyle medicine movement, Dr. Patel is a frequent speaker on topics related to empowering and educating individuals using the latest advances in health and wellness so they can prevent and control the development of chronic diseases and achieve balanced lifestyles.

Zuleyka Strasner, Founder and CEO of Zero.

Shannon Grant, Founder of Annie’s Capital. She backs unstoppable early-stage consumer and enterprise female founders and gives them a platform to tell their stories. Recently she helped start Wharton Alumnae Founders & Investors Association, a community dedicated to increasing the number of Penn Wharton women founders and investors in the startup ecosystem.
