National Geographic Explorers are dedicated to teaching others about the world and how it works, empowering them to succeed and to make it a better place. These passionate scientists, researchers, and educators are working hard to understand our natural environment, from exploring the Ogooue River in Gabon, to developing tools to stop environmental injustice in Latin America, to documenting the impacts of deforestation and oil palm plantations on rainforest biodiversity, to ensuring that all students have access to field trips.
